1. General Legal Framework (Netherlands)
This return policy is based on Dutch consumer law, including the right of withdrawal for distance sales (bedenktijd) under Book 7 of the Dutch Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek) and EU Consumer Rights Directive. As a consumer in the Netherlands (or EU), you have statutory rights that cannot be limited by this policy.
2. Return Period (Right of Withdrawal / Bedenktijd)
You have 14 days from the day you receive the goods to withdraw from a distance purchase without giving a reason. This is the minimum withdrawal period required by law for distance sales in the Netherlands and the EU. To exercise this right, you must inform us clearly (e.g. by email or contact form) before the 14-day period expires.
If you do not inform us within 14 days, the purchase is final and the right of withdrawal lapses.
3. Return Conditions
To qualify for a refund under the right of withdrawal:
- You must notify us of your decision to withdraw within the 14-day period
- Goods should be returned in their original packaging where possible, unused and unopened, unless the product was defective or not as described
- We may deduct from the refund if the product has been diminished in value by handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning
For defective or non-conforming products, different rules may apply (see section on Defective Products).
4. Cost of Return Shipping
You bear the direct cost of returning the goods to us. We do not reimburse standard return shipping costs unless otherwise stated (e.g. in case of our error or defective product). We will refund the purchase price and any standard delivery cost you paid to us (cheapest offered option), in accordance with Dutch consumer law.
5. Return Process
- Notify us: Contact us within 14 days of delivery at chat-@shryxelltyshep.world or +31649997271 to state that you wish to withdraw and (if applicable) request return instructions.
- Send the goods back: Return the product in accordance with our instructions, in original packaging where possible, and keep proof of postage.
- Refund: Once we have received the returned goods and verified they meet the return conditions, we will process the refund as set out in the Refund Procedure section.
6. Non-Returnable Items
The right of withdrawal does not apply in certain cases under Dutch/EU law, including (where applicable):
- Sealed goods that have been unsealed after delivery and are not suitable for return for reasons of health or hygiene (e.g. certain sealed supplements or personal care items once opened)
- Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized
- Perishable goods
If your product falls under an exception, we will inform you. For defective or misdelivered items, your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
7. Order Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your order without penalty:
- Before dispatch: If the order has not yet been shipped, contact us as soon as possible. We will cancel the order and refund any payment already made.
- After delivery: Within the 14-day withdrawal period, you may withdraw as described above (Return process).

8. Refund Procedure
We will refund the purchase price (and, where applicable, the cost of standard delivery you paid) within 14 days of the day we receive the returned goods or (if earlier) of the day you provide proof that you have sent them back. Refunds are made using the same means of payment you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise (e.g. store credit). We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or proof of return.
If the product has been diminished in value by handling beyond what is necessary, we may deduct an amount corresponding to that diminution from the refund.
9. Defective Products
If you receive a defective product or one that does not match the description, contact us immediately. Your statutory warranty rights under Dutch law apply. We will arrange replacement or refund as appropriate and in accordance with applicable law. In such cases we may cover the cost of return shipping; we will confirm when you contact us.
